Family Pets Killed in House Fire

<P>Two homes are a total loss after a fire in Danville.</P>

Not one, but two Danville homes are destroyed after a day of fires.
The home at 209 Olive Street in Danville is also a total loss after the fire in Danville.
that started yesterday afternoon.
The first fire was put out yesterday afternoon, but the blaze rekindled after ten last night claiming
another home.

Luckily, no one was home at the time.
It took firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the flames of the second fire.

Crews were called to the 2000-block of English Street on the far east side of the city about 1:30 pm.
    Four people were hurt, including two civilians and two firefighters. None of the injuries are life threatening, but the homeowner sustained burns and cuts to his hands when he tried to rescue two family dogs. They did not survive.
    No one was in the home at the time. The resident ran from down the street when he saw the fire. The home is a total loss. A cause has not yet been determined.
    Four fire departments helped fight the blaze, including Danville, Oakwood, Bismarck and Kickapoo.
