Former Illlini assistant a finalist for Butler job

Brandon Miller is one of two finalists to replace Brad Stevens at Butler.
Former Illini assistant coach Brandon Miller is a finalist for the Butler men's basketball head coaching job. This is according to the Indianapolis Star. Miller was a special assistant to John Groce in 2012-2013.

Miller left Illinois in April to be an assistant under Brad Stevens before the former Bulldogs coach took the Celtics job.

Miller is a former Butler player, who helped the Bulldogs to a Sweet 16 appearance his senior year. The other candidate for the Butler job is Michigan assistant LaVall Jordan.
