SPRINGFIELD -- It seems Governor Quinn likes a new plan to solve the state's pension crisis. The Special Committee on Pensions is considering one which will save the state about $138-billion.

It's a give-and-take plan, reducing the cost of living increases for employees when they retire, but also reducing the amount they contribute in each paycheck. The committee hopes to have a bill ready for a vote later this month.
