Groce stresses mental tougness heading into B1G play

Illinois head coach John Groce is stressing mental toughness to his team leading up to Tuesday's Big Ten Conference opener against Indiana.
CHAMPAIGN -- Illinois moved up to No. 26 in the Associated Press Top 25 men's basketball poll Monday, one spot behind Missouri, the team the Illini beat two weeks ago.  It's the second straight week Illinois has received votes.

The Illini (11-2) open Big Ten Conference play against Indiana Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at State Farm Center.  With 18 conference games looming in the next two months, second year Illini head coach John Groce has been preaching mental toughness the last few days of practice.
