CHAMPAIGN - Rayvonte Rice proved to be the go-to guy again for Illinois Wednesday night as they outlast Valparaiso 64-52 at State Farm Center. The Champaign-native scored a game-high 18 points to go along with 8 rebounds. Illinois State-transfer Jon Ekey pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds in a game that saw four Illini in double-figures. Illinois improves to 3-0. They'll be back on the court Sunday night when they host Bradley at 5:00 pm.
