Illinois tops Indiana in OT

Rayvonte Rice scored 29 points, tying a career high, and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Illinois past Indiana 83-80 in overtime Wednesday afternoon at State Farm Center.
CHAMPAIGN -- Illinois junior transfer Rayvonte Rice scored 29 points, tying a career high, and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Illinois past Indiana 83-80 in overtime Wednesday afternoon at State Farm Center.

Rice made two layups with 2 seconds left to seal the win for the Illini (12-2, 1-0 B1G), who won their second home game of the year against the Hoosiers (10-4, 0-1 B1G).  Tracy Abrams added 17 points and Joseph Bertrand had 13 to help the Illini win in front of their first home sellout crowd of the season.
