Kynard: college football games "hard to win"

The Illinois football team has a chance to exceed their win total from all of last season if they can beat Miami (OH) for win No. 3 on Saturday. Illinois is favored by 25 points in this game, and if they can finish the non-conference schedule with a 3-1 record, they say that will be a big boost heading into Big Ten play.
CHAMPAIGN -- The Illinois football team has a chance to exceed their win total from all of last season if they can beat Miami (OH) for win No. 3 on Saturday.  Illinois is favored by 25 points in this game, and if they can finish the non-conference schedule with a 3-1 record, they say that will be a big boost heading into Big Ten play.

"Just to be 3-1 and having a chance to win football games - it's just tough," said defensive end Tim Kynard.  "We're going to take it day-by-day and week-by-week.  Getting wins in college football is hard so we have to bring our game every day."

Illinois (2-1) hosts Miami (OH) Saturday at 11:00 am. on BTN.
