CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- A man will spend 15 years in prison for beating his 2-month old daughter. 21-year old Dwayne Williams was convicted in October for hurting Mariyah Brothern.

She suffered a ruptured esophagus, broken ribs, bruised organs and internal bleeding. Williams had faced up to 30-years in prison for the class X felony.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- A Champaign man was convicted of aggravated battery to a child. 21-year old Dwayne Williams faces up to 30-years in prison for the class X felony.

Police say, in November 2012, Williams hurt his 2-month old daughter by squeezing her. The infant sustained a crushed esophagus and internal injuries.

Williams admitted to police the baby was crying and he picked her up and squeezed her. He then put her in her crib and when he returned, he found her bleeding from the mouth.
