SPRINGFIELD -- A mother faces charges after police say she stabbed her adult daughter. They were called to a home in the 1900-block of Stonehenge Wednesday night.

The 34-year old victim told police her mother, Julie Robison, 51, attacked her. The victim said Robison was upset that her "favorites" had been deleted from her computer. She said that Robison "came at her."

The two fought each other; punching and pulling hair. The victim said when her mother turned to grab something, she thought it was the phone. Instead, she said Robison grabbed a knife and stabbed her through the left wrist.

Police say, in addition to the stab wound, the victim had cuts on her face, scratch marks on her chest and swollen knuckles. Robison had scratches on her face and her left eye was swollen. Robison told a doctor the two have had violent encounters in the past, but never to this extreme.

Police confiscated the knife they believe was used in the stabbing as evidence. Robison was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic battery. The victim does not face charges at this time.
