MONTICELLO -- Some Ethiopian leaders want to stop foreign adoptions from happening in their country. 

Jennifer Johns can't imagine that happening.  Her and her husband have five children.  Her three sons were born naturally and her two daughters were adopted from Ethiopia.  It is a process she says completed their family.  

The adoption process also opened up their eyes to giving back to their daughter's country.  The two also help families in Ethiopia struggling to provide for themselves.  

Last year more than 1,500 Ethiopian children were adopted in the US.  Leaders there are hoping to stop relying on that and provide help locally to orphaned kids in their country.
