No 'round-the-clock gambling in Illinois

SPRINGFIELD -- The Illinois Gaming Board decided Thursday not to allow casinos in the state to remain open for 24 hours.
SPRINGFIELD -- The Illinois Gaming Board decided Thursday not to allow casinos in the state to remain open for 24 hours. The decision comes after casino operators petitioned the board. 

As it stands, Illinois casinos can remain open for 22 hours at a time. The board did not give a reason for its decision.
