CHAMPAIGN -- A missing teen is found safe across state lines and the man police say took her is in custody. 13-year old Cleo Younce was reported abducted by 21-year old Nicholas Hurley Thursday. Friday, they were both found coming out of a Walmart in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

There was an Amber Alert issued for Cleo Thursday. Just before noon Friday, word was issued Cleo was found.

Police in Missouri say they got a tip about Hurley's bronze Suburban being at the local Walmart. When they got there, it was empty, but shortly afterwards, the pair came walking out of the store. That's when police arrested Hurley and Younce was put in the custody of the Department of Family Services.

Champaign police say her parents have been notified. A post on Cleo's mom's Facebook page, says they're headed there now to pick her up.

They declined to comment in person, but posted another statement on Facebook: "Cleo has been found. He is in custody and she is safe. No details have been given to us further. The important thing is my daughter is alive and safe."

The FBI, U.S. Marshals, Missouri State Police, and Cape Girardeau city and county officers all helped in the investigation.

CHAMPAIGN -- Police say Cleo Younce has been found. Authorities say a tip to Cleo's mom led to police finding the pair at a Walmart in Cape Girardeau, MO. No other information has been released. We'll update this story as it develops.

CHAMPAIGN -- Police are currently investigating a reported abduction involving a 13-year old girl. Police want help from the community finding Cleo Younce.

Younce left her residence in the 2400-block of Hathaway Drive around 12:30 pm and contacted her mother at approximately 3:15 pm to say she'd been abducted.

Detectives developed information that Cleo Younce is with Nicolas Hurley, 21, of Daleville, Indiana. Hurley and Cleo know each other through family friends.

Cleo Younce is a white female, age 13, 5'8", 175 lbs., with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark-colored half-jacket, black tank top, dark-colored jeans, and black and teal-colored tennis shoes.

Hurley is a white man, 21, 6'8", 295 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair. Officials say Hurley is driving a bronze 2000 Chevrolet Suburban with Indiana registration 261CTD.

Call 911 immediately if you see Cleo Younce, Nicholas Hurley or the bronze Suburban. Police believe the vehicle may still be in the Champaign-Urbana area.
