SPRINGFIELD -- Governor Pat Quinn is in Washington, D.C. attending the first meeting on Climate Preparedness and Resilience. President Barack Obama established the group last month in order to advise his administration on how the federal government can respond to the needs of communities nationwide which are dealing with extreme weather. Quinn was appointed to the task force along with seven other governors.
