CHARLESTON -- Three people are injured after a shooting at an Eastern Illinois University frat party.
CHARLESTON -- Three people are injured after a shooting at an Eastern Illinois University frat party. Phi Beta Sigma was having a barn party at 634 West State Street in Charleston. Police say about 2:30 Sunday morning, they responded to a "shots fired call" and arrived to a group of 300 - 400 people.

Police say two people were shot and another was beaten. Marissa Livingston was at the party Saturday night. She says everyone got to the party by charter bus and when the chaos started that's when people ran.

“We heard three gunshots two or three minutes apart. After that everyone on the bus was freaking out. And the bus driver was actually crying because they were yelling at him to drive. And he couldn't drive because there was a fight in front of the bus,” said Livingston.

The fire department took victims to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. Several agencies are investigating the incident.
