ILLINOIS -- The shutdown is forcing Illinois' health officials to cut back on some hospital and nursing home inspections. The Department of Public Health put some inspections on hold because the feds aren't paying for them. The Illinois Health Association says there hasn't been a noticeable impact so far, but it could change if the shutdown goes on for months.
