SPRINGFIELD -- Illinois' financial luck seems to be running out again.
SPRINGFIELD -- Illinois' financial luck seems to be running out again. The comptroller says unpaid bills are stacking up again.

Currently, she says her office has about $8.8 billion in bills. It's a big jump from $5 billion in May.

The comptroller says state revenue has slowed down and unpaid bills could total $9 billion next month.
