Students "chime in" for charity

CHAMPAIGN -- High school students are reminding others to be kind.
CHAMPAIGN -- High school students are reminding others to be kind. They're doing it by making ceramic windchimes. It's an extension of a national project called Ben's Bells.

People make the chimes, then hang them in random spots in town. The chimes are to remind folks to be kind to each other intentionally.

Ben's Bells is an organization which started in Arizona in memory of a little boy named Ben who died suddenly. Branches of Ben's Bells are in cities around the U.S.

It's the third year for the Be Kind Project in Illinois.
