CHAMPAIGN -- School's still out for summer when it comes to UI students, but move in day is Thursday. The university is getting ready with some last minute finishing touches.

Between resident advisers (RA) and international students, about 3,500 students have already moved in. You can see campus is already getting busy.

If you've been on campus, you've seen grass being mowed, finishing touches on dorm paint jobs and signs around town preparing drivers for a hectic day. An international student from Brazil is impressed with how organized the campus is. If you're not moving in, try to avoid Peabody, Illinois, Nevada and Mathews streets.

Students should watch where they dump their trash. You're asked to keep all large boxes out of hallways, break down cardboard boxes and put them in dumpsters outside the dorms. There are rooms on every floor for recycling.
