CHAMPAIGN -- Grocery stories are playing catch up to refill empty shelves.
CHAMPAIGN -- Grocery stories are playing catch up to refill empty shelves. County Market ran out of bread Sunday and went without it for nearly two days.

Managers had to double order this week for staple items like eggs, milk and meat. They've brought in extra employees to help stock.

Shelves still have some bare spots, but stores are slowly getting back on track.
