NATIONAL -- The cyber-security breach affecting Target stores may be more widespread than originally thought. An undetectable malware may be to blame; a malware cyber experts have never seen before.

They say other retailers could have been hacked into and not even know it yet. Experts say it's imperative that anyone who uses a credit or debit card be diligent.

New details have emerged from the breach investigation. They suggest the attack may have ties to organized crime from the former Soviet Union.

So far, the breach of credit card data could yield a $5.6 billion payoff for hackers.
