DECATUR -- Police are investigating an assault, battery and robbery.
DECATUR -- Police are investigating an assault, battery and robbery. It happened Saturday, October 27, about 7:00 am in the parking lot of Dollar General in the 2900-block of North Martin Luther King.

The suspect approached the victim, sprayed the victim in the face with an unknown substance and knocked the victim to the ground before taking off with the victim's cash. The race and gender of the suspect is not known, but the suspect was about 6' tall, with a husky build. The suspect was wearing a dark green coat, black pants, gloves and a ski mask with just the eyes cut out.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. You can remain anonymous and may earn a cash reward.
