UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- Students at UI are not the only ones getting perfect scores. The university is getting them, too.

It received a perfect score from The Princeton Review. It ranked 800 universities for sustainability; how well they save energy by bike riding or taking a bus instead of driving and shopping locally.

Stephanie Lage is Assistant Director of the Office of Sustainability. She says the university has been trying to do better for years.

"We have been trying to do better and better in our sustainability initiatives. Finally, our campus is being recognized. I think it's a testament to our whole campus and the community in our commitment."

Out of 800 universities ranked, only 22 received perfect scores. The UI was the only Big Ten school to get a perfect score.
