This Day In Weather History1994 - A major winter storm brought ice and heavy snow to southern parts of Illinois. Much of the area received up to 1/2 inch of ice accumulation, followed by 6 to 10 inches of snow. Schools and buisnesses closed, while road crews struggled to clear the roads.
