This Day In Weather History1969 - Thunderstorms brought 3.62" of rain to Peoria, the wettest October day on record. Normally, Peoria only gets 2.65" for the entire month. The thunderstorm produced a tornado on the Tazewell/Woodford County border east of Morton. A house did take some roof damage from the tornado.
