1991 - Severe thunderstorms made an appearance in central Illinois. Hopedale (Tazewell County). Several homes were damaged along with other buildings. Near Carlock (McLean County), a brief was reported, but no damage was reported. Many places saw winds of 60 mph or more, which caused damage to trees, power lines, and buildings in many locations.
