Governor Pat Quinn issued a statement today, about Illinois' efforts to secure federal assistance for people affected by the devastating tornado which tore through the state on February 29.
U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D) announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is investing more than $1.7 million in seven fire departments and fire protection districts in the state.
