Friday Snow For Northern Counties

An east/west band of potentially heavy snow is going to set up in the northern part of the state.  Chicago and and areas near and along I-80 are in for quite the snow event.  Most of this will stay in that region, but our northern counties will likely be on the southern edge of this snow Friday through early Saturday.

The snow will have a fairly tight gradient, meaning that the further north you go, you'll see quite a bit more snow.  For us, it will favor the northern edges of our northern counties, but even still, we think that Pontiac and Watseka will be on the higher end of 2"-4".  The most south the snow goes will probably be the northern edge of Champaign and Vermilion counties.
