Have you ever wondered why we have seasons, or what causes them? Many locations on earth may see up to four seasons in a year. This is because the Sun’s rays don't strike the earth the same in all locations. The earth has a 23.5° tilt. This means when sunlight reaches the earth, a portion of the earth is closer to the sun than the other portion. The closer we are to the sun, the warmer our season will be like Summer. The further we are from the Sun the cooler our seasons will be like Winter.
