An EF-1 tornado struck Pana, IL in southeast Christian County. The tornado originally touched down in the northern part of the town and moved north, briefly becoming an EF1 with winds of 110 mph. The tornado was on the ground for 2.5 miles and was 100 yards wide at its widest point. It lifted, 3.1 miles north of Pana after being on the ground for 3 minutes.
